The Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter lets you connect an advanced digital monitor, such as the 20" or 23" Apple Cinema Display, to a MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air with a Mini DisplayPort. The new MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air each have a Mini DisplayPort that allows you to connect an external display or projector using an adapter. You can use an external display as your main workspace or to extend your desktop, or you can work in mirrored mode with a projector so you can view what your audience sees.
This Tartan (TM) brand 10 foot green HDMI cable, available exclusively from Blue Jeans Cable, offers high quality at a truly affordable price. The Tartan 28 series are available in lengths ranging from 1 to 15 feet, and are offered in more specific lengths and colors than competing brands. These cables are certified for "high speed" applications to 6 feet and for standard applications to 15 feet, but in practice will generally handle high speed applications all the way up to the maximum 15 foot length. The thin gage and consequent high flexibility make these cables ideal for short runs and for patch-panel and equipment-rack applications. This 10 foot HDMI cable is in a green jacket, but we also offer the same 28 AWG cables, at the same prices, in black, white, red, blue and yellow jackets, to make it easier to distinguish cables from one another on your equipment rack--just search for Tartan 28 cable and the desired color.
HDMI technology uses a much more compact and user-friendly connector than the existing DVI connector. The HDMI specification handles higher-bandwidth, uncompressed video, and multi-channel digital audio, all in one neat cable solution. (DVI-HDMI cable supports video digital only).
